Aside from the warm glow of keeping independent radio alive? Absolutely. Your donation is fully tax-deductible, so you’ll get a little love back from the tax office come June 30. Plus, you’ll be part of the reason why local artists get airplay, bold stories get told, and community voices stay loud. Not bad, right?
Your supporter contributions go towards the everyday costs of running a radio station and maintaining fbi.radio’s ability to foster the next generation of radio makers, DJs, media professionals and more. It allows us to platform the next big thing over the airwaves and put on events to keep Sydney’s music, arts and culture communities thriving.
Yes, all donations over $2.00 to fbi radio are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a confirmation email with a tax-deductible receipt for your records.
The only exception to this is if you wish to be a ‘Voting Member’ and have a say in the station’s governance. In this case $1 will be taken from your first payment each year as a ‘Membership Fee’ and is not tax-deductible.
We understand things change. If you ever wish to cancel, pause or change the amount of your fbi.radio support you can reach us at membership@fbiradio.com and we will be able to facilitate.
