DoloRRes & cherry chola
JACUZZI

A amorphous, liquid - like pink and black pattern

At times sedated and boozy, at others energetic and sweaty, JACUZZI pays homage to the ebb and flow of a night out; both at the club, and in your friend’s parent’s hot tub at the afters.

JACUZZI is a collaborative album from Melbourne based, Roman rapper/producer DoloRRes, and Sydney/Mexico based, Venezuelan artist cherry chola. The two, although from different continents, come from the same vodka-soaked, sticky dance floors. DoloRRes brings witty Italian lyricism to the table, whilst cherry chola knocks the drinks off and dances on top of it. Her sexy, scented lip-gloss, bikini-clad deliveries add the cherry-on-top.

The record’s lead single ‘CLANDESTINA’, featuring Melbourne artist Khya, roughly translating to “something illicit”, feels so drug-fuelled it should be forbidden. ‘O ÍMÃ’ (“the magnet”) could easily be off of M.I.A’s Arular, while ‘Notte In Metro” gives serious KICK ii energy – ambient and booming, like it was recorded in Sydney’s Museum train station.

The party continues with dance-ready neoperreo tracks like ‘AL MENO’ with Melbourne’s Agung Mango. In its lower, dissociative moments like ‘SPINA’, the body you’ve been moving all night starts to become numb.‘Precio’ wraps it all up, a come-down anthem sounding like hangxiety and empty bottles of Gatorade.

If you like your tequila, lime & soda overpriced, clothes chlorine-soaked, and you’re unsure how you’ll get home tonight, JACUZZI is here for you.
