DAISIES FILM SCREENING | TUES 4TH MARCH 7:30PM | GREENHOUSE STUDIOS

A nice evening for a perfect Mardi Gras recovery film. 𝑫𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒆𝒔 (𝟏𝟗𝟔𝟔) is an absurd, hedonistic, beautiful, silly, chaotic, subversive, feminist classic. This Czech New Wave  film by Věra Chytilová was originally banned in Soviet Czechoslovakia due to its portrayal of two cheeky and indulgent women. This sort of feminine indulgence was considered totally unacceptable under Soviet rule and is exactly what we love about it. This film is an absolute delight and a real treat for your imagination - it runs from 7:30pm and entry is by donation.

STRIP HER POP-UP | SAT 8TH MARCH | NEWTOWN

Strip Her is a night of soulful, sensual sisterhood & divine feminine mischief, a women-only pop-up strip show, that celebrates the full feminine expression in a way that feels beautiful, sacred and respectful and not like the strip clubs built for the sole purpose of objectifying women. This show is a bit of a revolutionary concept, with the stage open to any woman willing to strip down in a free-flowing dance that’s premised on you having as much fun as possible. The evening includes guided embodiment, performances, talks and the chance to take control and be in sync with your body.
