Our very first guest is the force behind some of the most beautiful leftfield pop tracks we’ve played on the show - producer, composer, vocalist and community radio legend Fatshaudi based in Meanjin/“Brisbane”. She crafted together a guest mix for the show responding to the Soulseeking theme, by selecting sentimental tracks she found on the internet. Expect delicate vocals and plenty of reverb atmos that make it a perfect listen on a hot summer night.
German sound artist, drummer and visual artist Ludwig Wandinger is our second guest, having released two astounding solo records; ‘Spiritual Decay’ on one of our most referenced labels Gin & Platonic and more recently ‘Is Peace Wild?’ on Caterina Barbieri’s imprint light-years. We will be airing our longform interview with him focusing in granular detail on not only his new album (easily one of our albums of the year) but his production processes on Ableton, sharing insights into his mastery of digital synthesis. You'll also hear a special mix he made featuring his own reference points such as Qow, S280f and Aphex Twin.
