Earlier this week we got to catch up with a UKG heavyweight who is only rising higher and higher in the scene, he goes by the name Spencer but you may know him by his producer and DJ name, scruz.
Hailing from Bristol and Kent, UK — the icon himself is known for his dubs and bootlegs on Soundcloud to which he has received a lot of love. From Sammy Virji to Conducta to our very own Young Franco and Osmosis Jones; he is a name known amongst the UKG scene.
And after dropping the infamous Bonesaw Remix with Kippo and Simula, his audience has just gotten bigger. Fun fact, he is also someone who Cat looked up to when she started DJ'ing !
scruz is dropping bangers like no tomorrow and with his latest hit — Need It — there is no sign of stopping with this guy.
With the announcement of his headliner tour in Aus and NZ, we were able to secure him in for an interview and a guest mix. We'd like to thank him for taking time from his busy schedule to sit and chat with us in the studio, and we hope our FLIPSIDE listeners enjoy the interview and guest mix as much as we did.
