Tonight we're hearing some of my non-2024 best-ofs: music that I’ve belatedly discovered only this year, albums that might’ve come out around this time last year that didn’t really get enough time to make it into last year’s best of 2023 playlists, old music I’ve revisited this year and music from artists I’ve loved for years but somehow missed a certain release of theirs along the way. Honestly, there’s so much music in the world and it feels like we should celebrate that and the experience of constantly discovering music, new and old. Then from next week I'll be doing four consecutive shows for my best-of 2024 releases.
