This week we welcome Milky Tea, Molly Pop & Rebecca Rosenfunk to the studio.
The Trio are a part of local crew Queen Bee DJ's, which is an all female/NB run collective of vinyl only DJ's based in Eora, formed in 2019.
They are selectors, record collectors & DJ’s with a passion for good music, spanning soul, funk, jazz, rhythm & blues, disco, Latin, reggae, garage, calypso, dub & hip hop.
They fundraise annually at they're International Women’s Day event at The Hive Bar Erskineville, and create events to showcase female and non-binary DJ’s in the vinyl music scene.
But most of all, they love they're records and love to share them with others!
Catch them spinning wax at their 7th annual International Womens Day fundraiser at The Hive Bar tomorrow, as well as at the Honey Trap Sound System Sound Check The System warehouse party, both raising money for the Woman's and Girls' Emergency Centre Redfern.
